L3HX Partners with Toyon Research to Secure Autonomous Elastic Swarms

Program: Research and Development of Elastic Swarms (RADES)
L3HX has been selected as the secure communications partner for Toyon Research Corp's new Phase II SBIR contract (FA8730-25-P-B005) with the Air Force. While Toyon develops the decentralized "elastic" architecture for managing unmanned systems (UxS) across multiple battalions, L3HX will provide the blockchain-encrypted data layer ensuring secure identity management between autonomous agents.
This collaboration will be validated at the Golden Horde Colosseum (GHC), demonstrating how multiple operators can asynchronously task a massive swarm without a central command node.

To meet the Space Systems Command's demand for a 3-5% increase in power generation, L3HX is supporting Lynntech, Inc. in the development of ECLIPSE. As the manufacturing partner for the modified cell components, L3HX will leverage its advanced glass 3D printing capabilities to produce the enhanced light-integration covers, boosting photovoltaic efficiency for space-based assets.

Next-Gen Counter-Measures: Collaborating on GHz-Burst Lasers

L3HX is providing thermal management and housing solutions for Voss Scientific's new Burst Mode Laser (BML) system. This STTR Phase I program aims to counter RF and EO/IR sensors using Ultra Short Pulsed Lasers. L3HX's 4D manufacturing will be utilized to create the ruggedized chirped-pulse-amplification (CPA) chambers required to handle the 20 mJ energy output.

To support our growing portfolio of SBIR/STTR partnerships, L3HX has broken ground on a new 50,000 sq. ft. facility dedicated to quantum logistics and additive glass manufacturing. This hub will serve as the primary integration point for our subcontractor agreements.
